William Williams Feltwell was buried in Glade Run Presby. Cemetery, Dayton, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, USA.
William Williams Feltwell William W. Feltwell came to the United States from England in 1804 as an agent for a British company that owned large tracts of timber land in Clearfield and possibly surrounding counties. On April 29, 1807, he presented his Declaration of Intention for citizenship before the Centre County Court at Bellefonte. There is a replacement stone on his grave in the Glade Run Cemetery at Dayton, Armstrong County, Pa. The style of stone indicates that it was probably placed there in the 1920s. There is an open area next to his gravestone and it is most likely that his wife, Esther Cree Feltwell, is buried there in an unmarked grave. They were married for more than 50 years prior to his death in 1858 so it would be logical to assume that Esther would have been buried next to her husband.

Mr. Cree enlisted in the United States Army Airborne Engineers in October 1943. It was an experimental group that flew small equipment into the jungles of New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan. His interest in the Civil War took him to Three Springs where he met monthly for years as a member of the Aughwick Civil War Round Table. He wrote countless articles and books for newspapers and magazines, one of which was the history of the Huntingdon County Fair. He spent 75 years collecting family genealogy and he proudly mastered his computer to record all of this data, perfecting the appearance of his many writings and especially mastering his photography skills. This all happened while in his 80s and 90s. In the early 1960s, he was president of the Maryland Genealogy Society where he assisted in writing the bylaws which would combine with a new organization, the Maryland Historical Society, of which he served as the first president.

Jacob Rau
Male, CreeID#5066, (1 October 1858 - 5 February 1912)
Jacob Rau was buried in Harleigh Cemetery, Camden County, New Jersey, USA.
Jacob Rau Summary of information on Jacob Rau, obtained from his grandson, Edward Kohler, on 3 October 1976. Also from information provided by his grandaughter, Mildred Garner, and from the Rau family Bible.
Jacob Rau was born in the Black Forest region of southern Germany (Schwabia ?) on 3 October1858. He came to this country as a young man and settled in a predominately German neighborhood in Philadelphia.
He married Miss Julia Zeigler, probably about 1883, in Philadelphia. She also was born in Germany. To this marriage was born two daughters, Wilhemina (Minnie) and Emilie. Julia Zeigler Rau died in St. Marys Hospital in Philadelphia of typhoid fever on May 18, 1888 and was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery at Broad Street and Old York Road in Philadelphia. Julia had a sister, Mary Zeigler, who married a Mr. Shoen and lived near Newark, Delaware where she died about 1911. After the death of his wife, Jacob Rau hired a housekeeper by the name of Barbara Broz to look after his two daughters. She had come from the same area of Germany where Jacob had lived and had been a chambermaid before coming to this country. Her step-sister, Julia Bently, also came to Philadelphia from Germany.
After keeping house for Jacob Rau for a short time, Barbara Broz and Jacob were married. Some time shortly after their marriage, they left Philadelphia and moved to Camden, New Jersey where they bought a house at 534 North 9th Street. To this marriage was born a daughter Elizebeth, a daughter Clara who died at an early age, and a son Jacob who died at birth.
For some reason, Jacob Rau left his family about 1904 and disappeared, supposedly leaving for the West. The years passed and eventually his wife had reason to believe that he might be in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. She placed ads in the newspapers there and in time she received an answer from a lady who ran a boarding house there that one of her boarders matched the description of Jacob Rau. Barbara Rau went to Cincinnati and apparently found Jacob, and after two trips there, she finally persuaded him to return home to Camden. He returned in 1911 so he must have been away from his family for seven years.
Jacob Rau developed cancer of the mouth, either shortly before returning to Camden or soon after his return. He died on 5 February 1912 and was buried in the Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
Jacob Rau was a master hand engraver by trade and worked for many years for Hellig & Co. at 8th and Race Streets in Philadelphia. After moving to Camden, he opened an engraving shop of his own at 4th and Callowhill Streets in Philadelphia. He probably operated this business until he left home in 1904. Jacob Rau's widow Barbara was remarried to Charles Schnaufner in 1918. He was a teamster for the Weisbrote and Hess Brewery in Philadelphia.
Jacob Rau was the maternal grandfather of Robert H. Cree, through his daughter, Emilie.
He was born on 1 October 1858 in Swabia, Southern Germany.
Jacob Rau married Julia Zeigler c 1883 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
His daughter Wilhemina (Minnie) Rau was born on 12 November 1884 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
His daughter Emilie Rau was born on 28 May 1887 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Jacob Rau married Barbara Broz in 1888 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
His wife Julia Zeigler died on 18 May 1888 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
His daughter Elizabeth (Lizzie) Rau was born on 22 June 1889 in Camden, New Jersey, USA.
His daughter Clara Rau was born on 24 February 1892 in Camden, New Jersey.
His daughter Clara Rau died on 13 February 1894 in Camden, New Jersey.
His son Jacob , Jr. Rau was born on 22 May 1897 in Camden, New Jersey.
Jacob Rau died on 5 February 1912 in Camden, New Jersey.

Mary Belle Cree
Female, CreeID#5094, (6 January 1885 - 17 February 1959)
Charts | Line 17. The Perth glovers line Branch 21a. The John Cree branch of PA |
Mary Belle Cree was also known as Belle Mary Cree.1 Her married name was Burns. She was born on 6 January 1885 in Davis County, Iowa, USA. She was the daughter of Thomas Clayton Cree and Carrie Viola Lockman.
Mary Belle Cree married Orla Julissa Burns, son of John Henry Burns and Laviona Brundaga, on 25 December 1901. They had eight children from 1903 to 1922.1
They lived about a milke from Belknap, near two railroads.
On 1 March 1915 Mary Belle Cree and Orla Julissa Burns moved from Belknap and settled at Sheridan Lake, Colorado, USA. They moved to Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, in 1916 where, in 1920, Orla was employed as a real estate agent.1 Mary Belle Cree and Orla Julissa Burns were separated some time in the mid-1920s. Lindsay Kaye Palmer writes, "While they never divorced they never lived together from then on. Belle continued to live in Cheyenne Wells with the children."1
Her father Thomas Clayton Cree died on 15 January 1927 in Belknap, Davis County, Iowa, USA.
Her mother Carrie Viola Lockman died on 9 March 1933 in Davis County, Iowa.1
"While living in Cheyenne Wells, Belle was known to have worked as a cook at the West Hotel, as a housekeeper for a barber named Massey, and a caretaker of his motherless son, Carvin, and also helped Dr. Homer deliver babies. When Bill graduated from high school, she and Billy moved to Alhambra, CA. Bill completed four years of college before enlisting in the army to serve in WWII. Walter, Isabel, Don, and Martha also moved to CA.
Belle was known to be a very strong willed, stubborn person. She had an apartment in Alhambra, CA. She had no car, but would direct anyone on how to get anywhere when riding in a car with her. Often her help was “unsolicited.” She made jelly and canned food for her family located near by. She made beautiful knit baby clothes for each of her grandchildren and later some of her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to her neighbors to watch television, especially soap operas and wrestling."1
Mary Belle Cree died on 17 February 1959 in Alhambra, California, USA. (Robert H Cree has Fontana CA.)1,2 She was buried in Fontana, California, USA.2 She was buried in Green Acres Memorial Park, Bloomington, California, USA.1
