David Curtin 'Curt' Cree THE MYSTERIOUS LIFE AND DEATH OF DAVID CURTIN CREE
David Curtin Cree, known to family and friends as 'Curt', was the youngest son of William E. and Susan Jackson Cree and was born at Glasgow, Cambria County, Pa. on June 28, 1863. The father, William E. Cree, moved with his family to Porter Township, Huntingdon County about 1868. He later moved to nearby Oneida Township and finally to Hendership Township where he was living at the time of his death in 1893. Nothing is known of the childhood days of young Curt but he no doubt received a basic education in the local one room schools and in the 1880 census for Henderson township, at the age of 16 years, he was shown as a 'farmer', no doubt working on the family farm. He was unmarried. He was born on 28 June 1863 in Glasgow, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, USA. He was the son of William E. Cree and Susan Jackson Wallace.
David Curtin 'Curt' Cree died after 1887. He was supposedly lost at sea en route to Australia.
