His father John Elliot Cree died on 21 February 1890 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.1

His mother Jemima Kirby died on 23 March 1892 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.

Thomas Kirby Cree arrived in New York City, USA, on 31 March 1905. Thomas was shown as 60 years old and a secretary. Mary was aged 25. (There is some doubt as to her identity on this and other voyages, due to the age discrepancy.) They had set sail on board the SS Bermudian from Hamilton, Bermuda on 29 March 1905.2

Thomas Kirby Cree arrived in New York City on 19 April 1906 with Lillian Dunham Cree and Mary Walker Cree. Lillian was 29 years old and Mary was 25. Both were single and US citizens. Thomas was their uncle, 68 years old and shown as married. They had sailed from Naples on board the Republic.2

Thomas Kirby Cree arrived in New York City on 4 April 1907. He was aged 60, married and a secretary. He left Bermuda on 2 April 1907 on board the SS Bermudian. Also on the voyage were a Dr Carroll Dunham, his wife Margaret and their three children.2

Thomas Kirby Cree and Mary Walker Cree arrived in New York City on 3 April 1908. Thomas was shown as 70 years old and a secretary. Mary was aged 30. (Their identities seem to be established by reference to similar annual trips.) They set sail from Liverpool, England, on 9 April 1909 on board the SS Baltic.

Thomas Kirby Cree and Mary Walker Cree arrived in New York City on 4 April 1910. They sailed on board the SS Orotava from Bermuda. Thomas was aged 70 and Mary was 42. A Sylvester Dunham, lawyer, and his wife Mary were also on board.2

Thomas Kirby Cree and Mary Walker Cree arrived in New York City on 9 May 1912. Thomas was shown as aged 75 and Mary as 40. They sailed on board the SS Ivernia which departed from several Italian ports during April 1912.2

Thomas Kirby Cree died on 3 December 1912 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.3 He was buried in Falling Springs Cem., Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, USA.

A biography of Thomas Kirby Cree was edited by his brother Major John Kirby Cree and published at New York City in 1914. It contains some autobiographical writing of his early life and much genealogical details.4
