In 1887 Anna L Carlsson moved from West Aggarp, Eneby, Sweden and settled at Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA. She then went back to get siblings, Helen and Anders (Andrew). Anders was only 11 years old when he travelled to America.

Harald Nilson wroted, "It was hard times in Sweden in the 1800s and early 1900s, hence the great exodus. Anna's father, Karl-Johan died in 1883 and left a wife and five children, Anders was then only two years old."3

The children of Susannah and Isaac were eight, and they are listed in the text John Ingraham Family and Descendants by Oliver and Helen Ingraham. One report shows an Isaac as a son. Another shows a Thomas as a son, who married Sophia Pilsbury. The possibility is present that Isaac and Thomas are the same persons.2

Susannah Crie died in 1832.2

This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of
John Cry who departed this life on or about the 9th
of December last past. He first committed his soul
to God and his body to Christian burial.
Item, he left and bequeathed to the issue begotten
upon the body of his wife Chatherine ten pounds, in
case they came of age to enjoy it, otherwise that
half thereof vizt., five pounds was to return to
his brothers, and the other five pounds to his wife.
Lastly he constituted and appointed his dear and
loving wife Chatherine sole Executrix of all the
rest of his goods of what kind soever, as well
moveables or immoveables and he left his brother
William Cry & Robert Brew overseers of his issue.
He declared that these sums following were due to
him from Mr. John Garret 2- shillings, with 12 month
interest, from Thomas Casement 20 shillings with
4 years interest, from Thomas Cleark senior Nappin
10 shillings with 9 years interest, from John Cleark
Rendow 40 shillings. He declared that there were
some accounts, and difference, between him and his
brother William but that were all settled and adjusted.
The Testator also declared it to be his will that
his wife should have the tuition of the issue and goods.

Dan Skillicorn,
Patrick Christian.
The Executrix sworn in Court in form of Law, and also
the supervisors. Probatum est & solvit, 12 pence.
The child and goods in the mother’s hands who hath
given pledges Patrick Christian and Robert Kelly.

Patrick Brew is this day become bound in the room and
stead of Robert Kelly for the forthcoming of the goods
due to the children of John Cry deceased by the death
of their said father before me

Then received Cath: the Executrix of her husband John Cry
the xxx of 40 shillings at and from the hands of John Clark
of Rendow, declared to be due by the within will and she
does hereby acquit the said Clark and Executrix of the same

daughter Joney Myrea, her shaped linnen equally. To her daughter Mary Fayle ---- the
half of the cow after the same was reared and weaned on account of her half she
promised her together with a small shift, a black petticoat and a apron and mittens
in the Dyers House she paying the dyer--- to her son Thomas Kinread a heifer and to
her son Ewan Kinread sixpence. To the witnesses of one shilling each. Lastly, she
nominated and constituted her daughter Joney Mylea aforesaid sole executrix of the
rest of her goods movable and immovable.

Confusingly another John Cry married at Andreas in 1827, his bride was Jane Christian. However John Crye who married Catherine Brew, was like his bride, born in Jurby and is known definitely to be the brother of William Crye.4

Her husband John Cry died on 9 December 1726.5

Catherine Brew married John Craine on 6 March 1734/35 in Jurby. The transcriber writes: "labelled 1734 but fits 1735 in seq."6 Catherine Brew was buried on 22 June 1743 in Jurby.2
