John Whitehead

In 1703 John Whitehead was living in Oxcroft, Bolsover, Derbyshire, England.4 He was buried on 24 July 1703 in Bolsover, Derbyshire. According to a declaration his wife Ann made after his death in 1703, he was living in Oxcroft about 2m north of Bolsover at the time of his death.5,6 Administration of John Whitehead's estate was granted to Ann Whitehead (married name) on 6 October 1703.7

Thomas Gleason Cree, most likely a son of Stephen Cree and Hannah Smith, changed his surname to Creed, probably in the 1840's. His children did as well, and sons Ivers and Moses both had issue. Donald is a male descendant of the Topsfield Cree family..."
