Thomas Cree could not be found in any Census indexes for Great Britain or Ireland after 1891 No marriage or death record has been found so we are fairly confident that he is this migrant.⁶

Thomas Cree arrived in London, England, on 2 February 1895. He had left Melbourne aboard the Oroya in December 1894. He was aged 34. (He may also be the Thomas Cree who sailed back to Australia in March 1895.)

Thomas Cree and Thomas Edward Cree have not been found at the Duke Street Hotel, 1 Duke Street, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England, or anywhere in Britain or Ireland in the 1901 Census. Thomas Edward Cree was present as a servant or barman in 1911. This hotel was about 2 km from 74 Argye Street where his father Thomas Cree lived in 1881 and 1891, a fact which helps to establish their relationship as father and son.

Thomas Cree and Elizabeth Flanagan arrived in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, on 20 July 1906 along with Robert Cree. They are listed as being "Scotch" and as having boarded the Orita in Lisbon. The ship had come from South America.⁸
