CREE NEWS is back! Not as a printed journal like the CREE NEWS we published in the 1990s, but as an occasional web page giving the latest developments in Cree surname research. I hope you like this new format. To see the latest issue, click on the most recent date on the menu on the left under Latest CREE NEWS.

The original CREE NEWS was a print journal which was published by Mike Spathaky on behalf of the Cree Family History Society. It ran to seventeen issues published from 1990 to 1999. All the issues are archived on this web site as facsimile images under the heading Cree News Series 1, together with an alphabetical index to the articles.

More recently we have tried a Cree Blog and a Latest News page. The new CREE NEWS replaces these, but all past versions are archived somewhere. The eleven issues of Latest News are archived as Cree News Series 2.
