Introduction

For many years a number of people have been engaged in collecting information about the genealogy and history of people bearing the surname Cree. Much of this material has been collected together as the Cree Archives and the main aim of this website is to make it accessible to everyone.

Transcriptions

This is a library of transcriptions of original archives. They are of many kinds and stretch in time from the mediaeval period to modern times. Many of the transcriptions have been annotated.

Stories

Some booklets that were published in the 1990s under the imprint of the Cree Family History Society are re-published here together with the best of our articles, mostly from CREE NEWS.

Biographies

Also in this Archives Section are biographies which are too long to be easily included in the Cree On-line Genealogy Database. Some are published obituaries and others are extensive biographies researched by members of the Cree Family History Network.
