Downloadable spreadsheets

A number of lists containing details of Cree births, marriages, deaths and other events have been compiled over many years, starting with Trevor Cree's monumental efforts in transcribing all Cree entries in the BMD indexes at St Catherine's House (as it was then), London, the GROS, Edinburgh, and the GRONI, Belfast.

These lists are available as downloadable spreadsheet files in Excel format (.xlsx). You will need to have software that can read files in this format, for example, OpenOffice Calc, which is free or Microsoft Excel.

Choose a country from the sub-sections on the left-hand menu to access the lists relating to that country.

Cree ID numbers

If you find a person of interest in a spreadsheet, note their Cree ID number if it is shown in the column headed CreeID. (This column is bright green.) Enter this Cree ID number in any QUICKSEARCH box on the web site to see the person's details in the Cree Online Genealogy Database.
