Robert Cree was a stonemason on 3 January 1846 in Portavo, County Down, Ireland.2

Robert Cree married Mary Monk, daughter of John Monk and Jane Linsay, on 3 January 1846 in Newtownards Civil Registrars Office, Newtownards, County Down, Ireland. The marriage was by licence.3,4

His son John Cree was born in 1846 in County Down, Ireland.5

His daughter Eliza Jane Cree was born c 1847 in Portavo, Bangor parish, County Down, Ireland.6

His son Alec Cree was born in 1850 or 1851.7

His son Samuel Talbot Cree was born in 1856 or 1857 in County Down.8,9

His son Thomas Cree was born in 1860 or 1861 in Ireland.10

C 1863 Robert Cree and Robert Cree were living in Portavoe, Bangor parish, County Down, Ireland. Either Robert Cree or Robert Cree was the occupier of one house and landlord of the house next door. These were two of a terrace of four cottages right by the sea shore, now identifiable as 75 and 77 Warren Road, Portavoe. Although it was in Bangor parish it was only a few metres from the boundary with Donaghadee parish. It is less than 3 km. from the town centre and next to Ballywilliam. It is possible that one of the above was also the Robert Cree who occupied a house and yard in Bridge Street, Donaghadee.11

His son Robert Cree was born on 10 March 1865 in Donaghadee, County Down, Ireland.3,12,13
