On 3 April 1881 Mary Cree was living in the household of James Cree in 38 Elba St, St Quivox, Ayrshire, Scotland, along with Thomas Mansbridge. James was a cotton weaver aged 56 and Mary was aged 21 and a dressmaker. Thomas Mansbridge was a boarder and a shoemaker aged 20.6

George Cree was born c 1699?. It seems likely that George was an unknown son of Patrick Cree and Marie Watson of Glasgow, as he named his own first son Patrick and his first daughter Mary. This Patrick named his first son George so we have a descendany that goes Patrick - George - Patrick - George, the major justrification for the genealogy of this line. He was the son of Patrick Crie and Marie Watson.1

On 17 February 1820 Patrick Cree It may be that this Patrick Cree is the one who was a witness in a case in the Old Bailey in London:
PATRICK CREE . I am a pawnbroker, and live in Gray's Inn-lane. On Saturday, about five minutes after nine o'clock in the evening, the prisoner pledged two sheets, a blanket, a counterpane, and a quilt with me for 10 s., in the name of Mary Welch . Next day the prosecutor claimed them.3 He was buried in 1826. It may be this Patrick Cree who was buried at St Andrew, Holborn, in 1826.
